Doctor

Aaron Ransome, OD. I went to the University of Houston College of Optometry and graduated with honors summa cum laude in 2020 and earned a Certificate of Commendation for the top score in my class on the Part 1 NBEO Board Exam. I am passionate about taking care of patients and finding the best visual solution for them. I love the name of this clinic, I Care Vision Center and what it represents and feel honored that Dr. Peters is leaving it in our care. My experience includes family eye care, glasses, specialty contact lenses, dry eye, diabetic management and glaucoma. I enjoyed a trip with VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) to St. Marteen providing eye exams and eyeglasses to those with little access to vision care. I like to hike, snowboard/ski and spend time with my family. I am from Pueblo originally and went to John Newman elementary and middle school, then went briefly to Centennial high school and East before moving to PCC for an Associate’s degree. My Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience was from Colorado College and Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from University of Colorado Denver.

Bahar Ransome. I graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Bahcesehir University in Istanbul Türkiye. My coursework focused on economic and administrative sciences with a 50% scholarship during attendance, then graduated at University of Houston studying intensive English. I worked with Dr. Victoria Peters here in 2021 and 2022 to learn the business of Optometry and help with the transition when Dr. Peters retired. I love traveling, animals, including my three cats, natural beauty, decoration, reading history and swimming.
